After vacationing in Southern California in November, I developed and printed my images for my Darkroom Techniques Final.
Using burning and dodging techniques, as well as textural screens and toners, I developed these shots portraying the beauty and ambiance of Huntington beach and the people that enjoy it.
Due to high levels of sun exposure, I used red filtered lenses to minimize the brightness of the sun and maximize tonal range.
With short shutter speeds, and a low aperture I was able to capture these brief glances of passing moments at the beach.
